BVW Round 1 - The Hallway

The Hallway was a horror/suspense experience developed for the HMD and Motion Trackers platform. Design constraints were to develop a virtual world where "you help Character A, who is afraid of Character B".

Mechanics: The team focused on a wheelchair interaction by placing an actor on a real wheelchair and programmed the trackers so that a natural wheelchair motion with the arms triggered the motion in the virtual world. Each arm triggered an independent wheel movement.

Story: The actor had to protect a virtual baby on his lap while being chased through a hallway by an unknown evil being. It was a metaphor for a father giving his life for his son.

My Role: Texture Artist and performer. The whole team participated in general design.
